We tried to export our short film in many ways and spent two days. The resaon is that we could not export our sound in adobe promeie. we have tried every possible way such as Mp3, wma, wav... Finally, Adobe after effect became the only choise. It is an effective soft ware, but its only disadvantage is to import voice and edit it.

I accompanyed Tina to finaish the insert in DVD. Of course, all most were finished by Tina. She is good at this kind of thing. I think they are besutiful, isn't it?

Final Week

This week is our final week. Tommorrow we will hand in our short film, and then Thursday we will have oral presentation. I am happy with it. As you know, we've spend so mauch time on it. I could said I would not regrect it even if the resault is not good.

which bubble is better?

myriads of lights

I am trying to do myriads of lights of some buildings on the background in the flash. of course, these lights must looks like flickering, and their colors will change as the time going.

I think the most important thing is to control the change of alpha parameter. Furthermore, when the buildings move towards the right and change their sizes, these lights have to be controled in another layer at the same time.

Last week, I have finished my responsible part of short flim, and helped Tina and Shuai more or less. However, there are still many things left about the final short film, such as flash profile, CD cover, production stills and so on, whcih makes us feel so worried, because we still have other assignments next week and next next week. OH~!!!

It's impossible for me to change it. Besides I thought it would not impact the effect of my posters to a large extent. yes, that is it. I told me it would be good.

our assignment 3

Today we have got the feedback of our Work-in-Progress. Obviously, we are not satisfied with our mark, because over the 2 weeks, we've spent much time on it. I think the biggist mistake was that we have no animatic, because at the beginning, we just thought "animatic" equals "animation test"-- We made a mistake abut the real meaning of "animatic". Further, there are still some things we should improved in the future, such as the whole environment, some details, and so on. YES, quite a lot. Hope we will make a big progress later.

Tonight,1,I will try to change the background color into the blue, which may outstand the main character from the vision aspect. 2, raise the height of the builings behind. 3. design the appearance of ATM machine and office building.

selfstudy--understanding blend effects

blending refers to how the colors of an instance interact with the colors below it. you saw how the instance in the flare layer had the lighten option applied to it, which intergrated it more with the instance in the background layer.

there are many kinds of blending opinions.

1. select the growing orb in the flare layer. 2. in the property inspector, expand the filters section.
3 click the link icon next to the blur x and blur y opinions to link the blur effect in both directions. 5 set the blur x and blur y value to 10 pixels

last week we animated an articulated object(one has multiple joints）
the first step to create articulated motion is to define the bones of our objects. the bone tool could be used.1. drag all these symbols to the right position
2.select the bone tool 3. click on the base of the cranearm 1' instance and drag the bone tool to the base of the cranearm 2' instance. release the mouse button. 4. the same methods in the following
5. the final one is also the most important one. rename the pose layer cranearmature and delete the empty crane layer that contain the initial movie clip instance.

KIWI

This short 3D film really made me cry. At the end, though Kiwi could fly. That also means he have to pay for it using his life. Maybe this is worth to him, afterall, flying is his whole dream.

I thought the designer was really amazing, because the action of Kiwi is so natural, and its figure is so cute. on the other hand, the music is also very fantastic which make people entered into the circumstance easily.

Finally, this film was 3 years ago, but so succesful.

haha~~ this animation is made by taiwan person. very funny language, funny figure, just to teach us how to use computer correctly, which is quite similar to our group's style. I lile it.

Our After School Studio may choose some elements from it. I will try to find more about this style.

about tommorrow's oral presentation

noidea about tommorrow's oral presentation. i am not sure weather my idea is clear or attractive, but only one point i know: i tried my best.

today i also saw somebody's pics. to be frank, they are very good, not only from their style but also from their color and idea and so on.

it doesn't matter if this time i am not the good one. the only thing is that i have made progress compared with me before.

review week 2

This week I learn how to make one person walk on the flash. It's a very interesting experience. As you know, though in our daily life walking seems to be a very simple activity, but when you do this animation on the flash, it is not like that as you thought. at this time, you should consider which leg is in the front, which leg is down, which leg is below.

For finishing the whole storyboard, I spend 2 days on computer using AI software.

I am one beginer to learn flash, thus I don't want to design some difficult figures. Maybe this would make the flash easier to be finished.

Hope I would have a good result about it.

lifelike ball

after i learned over the last week animation, i was really shocked and find the difficulty to learn 2D well, not only beacause the flshes on youtube Joshua showed us but also the examples done by the students. thus i made a decition to try my best to learn it.

what's more, during the class creating an animation of a ball bouncing on the stage, i found all the endeavor was to make this ball more lifwlike. for example, as you see, when the ball fly to sky, the speed must be slower. but when it fall down, its speed must be quicker. we should also deal with its time, the parth, the height of each bounce.

very exciting week. let's work hard.
